Throw Back Purchase

I really had been wanting a nice lengthening mascara that would separate all of my lashes and make them go on for miles. I was walking through the drugstore and I was looking through the Maybelline section when I came a cross a blast from the past. One of the first makeup items that I ever brought for myself was Lash Discovery Mini Brush Mascara. It is a skinny tube mascara with the tiniest brush, classic felt mascara brush.

So this little baby mascara really can pack a punch. It defines each lash and lengthens it and gives them medium thickness. I got the color in very black, which is very very black. This is a wet mascara so you have to let it dry or else you will make a mess of your under-eyes and lids. Before I apply this to my lashes I like to wipe of the excess product on a tissue. Too much product on the brush and your lashes will clump like crazy. The brush is very small and it can get into the little corners and all of my bottom lashes. It gets your lashes the "Twiggy" look but it you apply it lightly your lashes look so natural. It also has never flaked on me, even when I wore my glasses.

My only complaints are that a lot goes of product goes on your lashes causing them to clump quickly. Having to wipe the excess off with every layer that you apply is annoying and time consuming. I like mascara to be quick.

Overall I really like this mascara. I definitely will continue to purchase it.

TonyMoly Petite Bunny Gloss Bar

I have purchased a few Korean beauty products and I couldn't resist buying these little tinted glosses. The packaging alone just makes them amazing. I order all of them for amazon for Soul Korea and each of the little bunnies came a few days apart giving me some time to test each of them out. So Maybelline Color Whispers, Revlon Lip Butters, and Maybelline Baby lips lovers here comes a product right up your ally.

Battle of the BB Creams

You might have guessed because of the title but I will be comparing two different BB Creams. Not American BB Creams but Korean BB Creams. Korean BB Creams are the real deal when it comes to light weight natural coverage foundations. BB stands for Beauty Balm because the products have added benefits in skin care that really foundations don't have. A lot of people think that BB Creams are glorified tinted moisturizers. They honestly are not Korean BB Creams have light to medium coverage and really can be used a foundation I chose to use my BB Creams any day over my Covergirl Outlast.

November/December Empties!

I have been collecting my empties and I have so many. Every week I would look at my empties bag and go no I will wait another week, and that happened for about four months. So Here are my empties in no particular order.

Empties

  1. Eco Styler Olive Oil Styling Gel 16 Fl. OZ.
    • This is my favorite hair product right now, so perfect for creating shiny perfect curls. So easy and doesn't make my hair crunchey. I haven't repurchased this because it is so hard to find.
  2. Suave Professionals Almond + Shea Butter Conditioner 28 Fl. OZ.
    • This is a really great affordable drug store conditioner, super moisturizing I like to use it as my leave in.
  3. Neutrogena Oil Free Acne Wash Pink Grapefruit Cream Cleanser
    • decent face wash, slightly moisterizing. I would repurchase but not in the near future. This is a good summer face wash because it makes your face tingle.
  4. Micellar Cleanser & Makeup Remover 20 wipes
    • these are the only makeup wipes that I will use. I buy them at Trader Joe's and they are amazing. They don't irritate my face and take my makeup off without tugging. They are super moist and wet. They have no alcohol, colorants, or allergens.
  5. CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser
    • this is my favorite drugstore cleanser, super gentle and I love it. It also is a good brush cleaner.
  6. Curls Unleashed Leave-In Conditioner
    • I have a review on this. This is a good light weight leave in, nothing super special but a good product
  7. John Frieda Frizz-Ease Dream Curls perfecting spray
    • this is not my favorite product. Took me so long to finish because I never used it. Honestly this isn't a good product for people with super curly hair, but might work for wavy. I won't repurchase this.
  8. Herbal Essences Tousling Mousse
    • Not the best hair product but decent. Smells good.
  9. Trader Joe's Jojoba Oil
    • I love this. I wash my face with it in the shower and add it to my conditioner. So smooth and wonderful but kind of expensive for the size.
  10. Miss Jessie's Curly Pudding 2 oz
    • didn't like it
  11. Miss Jessie's Curly Meringue 2 oz
    • didn't like it
  12. Lush Ocean Salt
    • I bought this in Italy, I liked it because I had never bought a scrub before. But now I have tried several and this isn't a favorite. I don't really like salt scrubs, I am more of a sugar girl.

I really like empties videos and blog posts because it shows what a persons buys and uses. It is like an anti-haul. I don't know, I just like reading them.

What have you used up recently? Put a comment below telling me.

Step 1 Coastal Scents Eye Primer review

Made a coastal scents order a while a go and I purchased a fairly new product of theirs the Step 1 Eye primer. It is your run of the mill eye primer, comes in a squeeze tube and is translucent.

I really like this primer, easy to use, and works well. I can't really say any thing else. As always Coastal Scents has great shipping, I order from them all the time, so easy and fast.

I like this primer equally if not more than my urban decay primer potion, because it doesn't separate. Whenever I squeeze my UD primer potion first I get this oily liquid and then after some more squeezing I get the solid part. The oily stuff completely ruins the staying power of my eyeshadows, it basically makes everything suck. But, the Step One primer hasn't separated and stays solid.

Costal Scents: $9.95, 10 ml

Urban Decay: $20, 11 ml

Benefit: $26,  10 ml

Basically when you line it up your getting a good deal! So I 100% recommend that you go and purchase it from Coastal Scents.
