Since I have been posting my love for berry and burgundy lipsticks I thought I would share my favorite way to achieve the perfect deep berry lip. I like to use a lip liner to really create a perfect lip shape and then I like to top it off with a lipstick to give me full color and shine. I do love matte berry lips but I feel that when it is a little glossy it is more wearable. If you want a more matte finish just use the lipliner or top it off with a matte berry color.
The two products I use are OCC's Cosmetic Colour Pencil in Black Dahlia and Maybelline Color Sensational lipstick in Deepest Cherry.
Apply Lip Liner (but don't do it awfully like I do)
